Mold inspection

A mold inspection consists of a visual examination for mold growth, moisture mapping for hidden leaks, air sampling, surface sampling, measures of humidity level, find sources of moisture, and checking the air conditioning for mold.

Also, the inspector may will ask some questions about your health, to check if there is any issue.

Basically, a mold inspection focuses on determining if there is a hidden water damage present within the home that is causing a mold problem. If mold is found during the inspection, we proceed we the testing and samples.

Mold testing and samples with lab results

After or during the inspection, our team takes test and samples of the affected area to know what kind of fungus we have found. This will let us define the better way to remediate it.

Surface sampling may be useful to determine if an area has been adequately cleaned or remediated. Sampling for mold should be conducted by professionals who have specific experience in designing mold sampling protocols, sampling methods and interpreting results. Sample analysis should follow analytical methods recommended by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH), or other professional organizations.

As well we finish the removal and remediation, our tem take samples again, to verify if the mold has been totally vanish, so our client can be safe and getting rid of mold.
Results from the lab are typically available within 48 hours and a report is generated by the inspector based on the visual findings and lab results.

Professional mold removal and remediation

We do both with the aim of eliminating the problem. Remediation is the act of the removing damaged construction materials when said materials are irretrievable or non-salvageable. Such remediation should be done with precaution due to health concerns for the occupants.

Mold Removal is the act of removing the mold from the home or building. In some cases, mold is only on the surface of non-porous or semi-porous material.
So, remediation is removing contaminated material and mold. Mold removal is the removal of actual mold from surfaces, but not removing the material.
In both cases, we use high quality equipment and materials, taking care of your affected areas to minimize the damage.

Indoor air sanitization

We also deal with the reduction of airborne contaminants and surface mold. The goal is a dramatic reduction of airborne spore count.

Specialized filtration equipment allows us to capture microscopic mold spores out of the air. We utilize powerful air scrubbers and HEPA vacuums to prevent the spread of these mold spores while the mold remediation is in process.
